first_imgLow-cost airline Ryanair has launched new cheap flights from Dublin to the city of Kerry.The airline will run three daily flights from Dublin to Kerry, with chief executive Martin O’Leary suggesting that more cheap flights could be added at the airport if officials review route costs.Mr O’Leary said the costs passed onto airlines by Kerry Airport for flights from the city to Dublin are higher than on flights from Kerry to London.He explained that if the airport addresses this issue, Ryanair will offer passengers the same prices on Dublin flights as it does on flights from Kerry to Frankfurt and London.”We are calling on the Board of Kerry Airport to lower the airport costs on the Dublin route and make them similar to the costs which prevail on our Frankfurt and London routes. If they do, then Ryanair will respond by offering lower fares on the Kerry-Dublin service,” Mr O’Leary said.Fellow cheap flights airline Aer Araan bolstered its service between Dublin and Kerry at the start of the year. The Irish airline now offers four flights on a Sunday between the two destinations.
