Lima Sands house gutted by fire

first_imgFire Station officers attached to the Anna Regina Fire Station in Region Two (Pomeroon-Supenaam) are currently investigating a fire which started in a house at Lima Housing Scheme on November 7, around 19:30h. The fire reportedly erupted from an illegal GPL connection wire.As a result, 38-year-old Melisa Williams and her family are now homeless. Williams, who was at home when the fire started, immediately ran through the back door after noticing the flames.A report was made to the Anna Regina Fire Station and ranks were immediately dispatched to the area.However, when officers arrived at the scene, the interior of the flat, wooden house was completely gutted. The house measured 20 feet in length and 15 feet in width. No one was injured during the blaze.Officers are currently investigating.last_img read more
